Foxhole

Atheists have served in the military proudly and with distinction for generations.  Atheist military members and veterans refute the lie that there “are no atheists in foxholes.”  While the quote makes for great press and easy marketing, the truth is that many military members are in fact atheist and despite comments to the contrary, do not turn to “god” when combat confronts them.

For decades, Atheist military members have remained repressed or ignored as members of this great force, and the Reason Rally is focused on bringing this fact to light once and for all.  While the rally itself has many facets of bringing together different groups and individuals, all the Atheists should unite under the knowledge that there are indeed many “Foxhole Atheists”.
