The American Humanist Association will be hosting a pre-Reason Rally reception on Friday night, March 23rd! (***Update***: This reception is full!)

It’ll be a chance to meet leaders and staff of the AHA and the Washington Area Secular Humanists (WASH), create posters and buttons for the rally, and meet other attendees!


Black Nonbelievers Reason Rally After-party Starring Graydon Square – With three albums to his credit (The Compton Effect, The CPT Theorem and The Kardashev Scale), Greydon Square has established himself as a premier figure in the freethought community. Some of his noted singles include “Stockholm Syndrome”, “Brains”, “Extian” and “Myth”. His fourth project, entitled “Type II: The Mandelbrot Set” is scheduled for release later in 2012.

The Secular Coalition for America is having a Lobby Day of Reason on March 23rd, the day before the rally!

By joining us for this exciting event, you will be trained on the basics of lobbying and on the specific topics on which the Secular Coalition for America is currently lobbying. In-person lobbying from constituents is the single-most effective method of reaching and influencing elected officials.

The Lobby Day for Reason is free to attend and will include all of the training and materials you will need.

The Center for Inquiry-Washington DC will host a Reason Rally Reception at the historic Hill Center at the Old Navy Hospital, Friday evening, March 23rd, from 6:00-9:00 p.m.  Special guests include Richard Dawkins, Jessica Ahlquist, Lawrence Krauss, Sean Faircloth, Elisabeth Cornwell, and Maryland State Senator, Jamie Raskin, plus CFI management and staff.  (*** The reception has sold out, but email grassroots@centerforinquiry.net to be added to the waiting list!)

American Atheists will host a PRE-RALLY Fundraising Dinner
Friday night at 7pm at the Bethesda North Marriott! Wine and dine with Richard Dawkins, PZ Myers, Taslima Nasrin, Greta Christina, Cristina Rad, and many others! $200 per person (more than half will be tax-deductible), limited-seating. American Atheists, in conjunction with Atheist Nexus will host a FREE AFTER-PARTY
Held at the Bethesda North Marriott, featuring music by Shelley Segal. Cash Bar. No registration is required unless you wish to eat at the buffet, in which case you must register and pay $45 for the Saturday night dinner (convention purchase not required).

Rock Beyond Belief, a free event for Foxhole Atheists stationed at Fort Bragg (and atheists in the surrounding area) will take place on Saturday, March 31st from 12:00-8:00p at the main post parade field on Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
